Located on 175 acres just south of the Village of Zephyr, HighFields overlooks the gently rolling hills of Uxbridge. Even though it's less than an hour's drive from downtown Toronto, it has a relaxed, rural feel. The surroundings, mixed with the spa's knowledgeable and personable staff, put even first-timers at instant ease. Overlooking the rolling hills of Uxbridge, HighFields Country Inn & Spa offers an intimate (just 5 guest rooms), comfortable, non-intimidating environment furnished with antique pine pieces, vintage lamps and other collectibles. The breakfast room is a restored 1830s barn complete with rafters, beamed ceiling and an imposing fieldstone fireplace. Guests have a choice of comfortable suites with king size beds, or standard rooms with twin beds, all with whirlpool baths. Wireless internet available for your laptop.
Both day and overnight guests are invited to use the outdoor pool, lighted tennis court, 175 acres of walking trails, indoor Finish sauna, indoor InfraRed Sauna, fitness facility, spa lounge with natural fireplace and spa kitchenette.
You may book lunch (fare of the day) IF you are booking a day spa package. Lunch is $25. per person + HST + 15% dining gratuity. You may book lunch and/or dinner IF you are booking an overnight spa package. Dinner (fare of the day) is $60. per person + HST + 15% dining gratuity. We do not have a liquor license but you can bring your own.
A few of the spa's more novel treatments are the East Indian Head Massage, or the 2 hour Hydrotherapy Seaflora Wrap. The Oxygen Facial can surely be filed under the rejuvenation category. Yes, the face definitely looks younger, fresher and healthier after feeding oxygen and a combination of 87 different vitamins, minerals and amino acids directly iinto the skin.

Special saliva panels are ordered for male or female patients. Your cost associated with the Doctor's consultation, saliva testing, specific blood test and your personal hormone compound prescription is not covered by OHIP but most group insurance plans cover a percentage. Approximate associated costs for initial consultation, saliva test, and specific blood tests is $700. and approximate cost for 3 month comparison analysis is $650. This is definitely an investment and an informed commitment to your total well being and it is very important that you book both your initial consultation and your 3 month 30 minute follow up visit with the Doctor to re-assess the results of your program and to make any adjustment for the prescription of your hormone replacement prescription and any recommended nutritional supplements and diet.
