The Food – OMG. If you are getting a package that includes breakfast and dinner, bring clothes with room to grow. Norma’s cooking is divine and a real experience. She has a real knack for presentation and timing and we enjoyed every delectable bite. They say it’s all about the “little things” and while the big things were certainly covered, it was Lisa’s thoughtfulness in pointing out a spare raincoat and giving me rubber boots for hiking, as well as preheating the sauna for us Saturday morning, that went a long way to impress and made us feel truly appreciated as guests. She picked up on our desire to go hiking, and that we were excited at their traditional sauna. This kind of service really,really made us feel great.

This was my second visit to High Fields and definitely warm and inviting. Situated in the countryside it gives off a very relaxed and away from it all feel as you drive up. Norma is a very hospitable hostess, making sure that we were comfortable and advising us what all the spa had to offer. Can you believe it, you don’t have to go to the countrysides of Europe to get the beautiful views and the charming atmosphere, its right here in ontario, and not far from home. Highfields Country Inn and Spa offers you excellent services: beautiful luxurious facials and superior services. Its wonderful that such a place like this exists, some might say shangri-la, I say its true. You can experience the feel of Europe not far from home.

I was over the moon when my sister and myself were treated to an amazing day in this quiet hidden Spa with amazing staff that made sure our day was both fun and relaxing!

I had the pleasure of spending a half day at the Spa and was overwhelmed with the warmth and caring of Norma, she put you at ease very quickly and made for a wonderful experience I will return again and again.
