About HighFields Country Inn & Spa

Located on 175 acres just south of the Village of Zephyr, HighFields Country Inn & Spa overlooks the gently rolling hills of Uxbridge. Even though it’s less than an hour’s drive from downtown Toronto, it has a relaxed, rural feel. The surroundings, mixed with the spa’s knowledgeable and personable staff, put even first-timers at instant ease. Overlooking the rolling hills of Uxbridge, (Uxbridge being the Trail Capital of Canada), HighFields Country Inn & Spa offers an intimate, comfortable, non-intimidating environment furnished with antique pine pieces, vintage lamps and other collectibles. The living room/dining room is a restored 1830s barn complete with rafters, beamed ceiling and an imposing fieldstone fireplace. Guests have a choice of comfortable suites with king size beds, or standard rooms with twin beds, all with whirlpool baths. Complimentary wireless internet is available for your laptop. Overnight guests can relax in the living room where there is a big screen TV and massive wood burning fireplace.

Both day and overnight guests are invited to use the heated  outdoor pool, lighted tennis court, 175 acres of walking trails, indoor Finish sauna,  InfraRed Sauna, fitness facility, and spa lounge with natural fireplace. There is a spa kitchenette where you can make yourself a cup of tea.

You can spend a few days relaxing at HighFields and you may want to explore the area as well. There are numerous golf courses nearby and Lake Simcoe is only a 15 minute country drive.   The quaint little town of Uxbridge with it’s interesting little shoppes is just a few minutes away. By the way, did you know that Uxbridge is the Trail Capital of Canada?

When you make your reservation for overnight accommodation, please let us know if you would like a full breakfast ($30. per person + tax). You may book lunch (fare of the day) if you are booking a day spa package ($45. per person+ tax).  Overnight guests can make a reservation for a  5 Course Dinner with house wine (fare of the day). Cost is $90. per person + tax. When reserving your meals please let us know if you have any food allergies or dislikes. We can accommodate special diets, i.e. celiac patients, vegetarians, vegans, raw foodies. If you are renting the loft, it has a full kitchen and deck with a BBQ.

We offer singles and couples a myriad of unique services such as hydrotherapies, cosmetic acupuncture, therapeutic ultrasound, Thai massage, laser lipolysis, detoxification and wellness programs and Skin DNA genetic testing. Our Oxygen Facial can surely be filed under the rejuvenation category. Yes, the face definitely looks younger, fresher and healthier after feeding oxygen and a combination of 87 different vitamins, minerals and amino acid directly into the skin. .      Lipolysis Injections which is a method of dissolving small to medium localized areas of fat that are not affected by diet or exercise. Small injections of a natural medicine are administered locally.

.      Sculptra which is a synthetic of lactic acid. When done well, it doesn’t have the ‘over stuffed’ look that is all too common when too much Juvederm or other HA’s are used in the cheeks.
